Moore Hallmark is the Southeast Regional Director of the United States Chamber of Commerce. Moore oversees the congressional and public affairs for eight southeastern states: Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
The mission of the Southeastern Regional Office is to develop and maintain the region’s legislative, political and grassroots resources for the achievement of the U.S. Chamber’s public policy goals.
Prior to joining the Chamber, Moore served as the Governmental Affairs Director for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia, where he served as the association’s chief lobbyists. In his professional career, he has also served as the Governmental Affairs Director for the Community Bankers Association of Georgia, District Legislative Director for Congressman Bob Barr, and Sr. District Director for the Atlanta Area Council, Boy Scouts of America.
Moore has a Political Science degree from the University of Mississippi and Public Relations degree from the University of North Alabama. Over the years, he has been active in various community and alumni organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Cobb County Republican Party, Sigma Chi Fraternity, and Ole Miss Alumni Association. Moore and his wife, Kim, and son, Landon, attend Northside United Methodist Church, in Atlanta.
Mr. Hallmark will provide an in depth analysis of the upcoming November elections and how the outcome will shape several issues facing the business community.
